About Mixpert

Start with what you already have.

Mixpert is built around one practical question: “What can I make with what’s in my kitchen?”

Why Mixpert exists

Most recipes begin with a shopping list. We begin with your kitchen.

A few berries, half a lemon, a bottle you rarely use, or the coffee you make every morning can become something better. Mixpert brings cocktails, mocktails, smoothies, coffee drinks, shakes, juices, and lemonades into one ingredient-first place—so finding a good drink feels less like searching and more like mixing.

01

Home first

Recipes should work in an ordinary kitchen with understandable tools and ingredients.

02

Clear before clever

Useful measures and sensible steps matter more than complicated bartender language.

03

Your choice

Alcoholic, non-alcoholic, lower-sugar, or lower-calorie: the drink should fit the person making it.

Mixpert Nutrition Standard · Version 2.8

One calculation method for every published recipe

Every editorial recipe follows the same nutrition rules:

  • each ingredient is linked to one canonical USDA food or declared product profile and a gram weight;
  • cups, tablespoons, teaspoons, fluid ounces, and counted items are converted to grams before calculation;
  • one explicitly named default is used whenever brands or alternatives could change the result;
  • optional ingredients state whether they are included or excluded;
  • protein powders and packaged foods use a published Mixpert reference profile;
  • whole spices and tea bags removed after steeping are treated as infusion-only, while ground spices that remain in the drink are counted;
  • juice estimates state the modeled preparation: unstrained blender recipes count all listed edible pulp, while strained nutrition requires an ingredient-specific, documented composition and retention model; measured liquid and pulp yield alone does not establish nutrient retention;
  • alcohol energy is calculated separately at approximately 7 calories per gram of ethanol; and
  • source records are versioned and locked, and an automated check blocks unexplained calorie differences above 8%.

All values under “Estimated nutrition per serving” are calculated estimates. An asterisk marks a value with additional material uncertainty; a range or “Not reliably estimated” appears where the source does not support a single value. Open “See gram weights and references” on any recipe to inspect its calculation basis. “Reviewed” means an editorial and calculation check, not physical recipe or laboratory testing; product labels, produce yield, preparation, and substitutions can still change the final result.

Where AI fits

The Mixpert AI assistant creates personalized suggestions from the ingredients and preferences a user provides. Those generated recipes are practical starting points, separate from our published editorial recipe library. Always check product labels for allergens, and use professional guidance for medical or dietary decisions.

Enjoy responsibly

Mixpert includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic recipes. Please follow the laws where you live, never drink and drive, and choose a non-alcoholic option whenever alcohol is not appropriate.

Corrections and questions
