Information you provide

You may enter ingredient names, use voice input supported by your browser, or choose an image from your device. Do not submit sensitive personal information in these fields.

How Mixpert AI works

When you ask Mixpert to create a drink, the ingredient text, selected nutrition mode, and any photo you choose are sent securely to OpenAI to generate the recipe, preparation steps, substitutions, and estimated macros. Mixpert requests that generated responses are not stored for later retrieval. Mixpert does not sell the information you enter.

Accounts and Pro features

You can create a Mixpert account with your name, email address, and password. Passwords are protected with a one-way password hash and are never stored in readable form. Mixpert stores secure session records so you can remain signed in. If you enable two-factor authentication, its authenticator secret and recovery codes are encrypted, and recovery codes work only once. For Pro members, Mixpert also stores subscription status, account preferences, My Bar ingredient names, and recipes you explicitly choose to save so those features can sync across devices. Internal account identifiers are one-way hashed before they are used as Mixpert product-data keys.

Payments

Paddle processes Pro checkout, payments, taxes, invoices, renewals, and cancellation as Mixpert’s merchant of record. Paddle receives the billing and payment information needed to complete a purchase. Mixpert stores only the resulting customer, subscription, plan, status, and billing-period references needed to provide and manage Pro access; Mixpert does not store full card details.

Technical information

Our hosting providers may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as request logs, device details, and approximate network information. Mixpert sets a strictly necessary, signed random browser identifier to enforce the limit of 3 free AI credits per UTC day. To prevent private browsing from resetting that allowance, Mixpert also uses the IP address supplied by Cloudflare with broad browser, operating-system, and mobile-or-desktop categories. Mixpert stores only secret-keyed hashes of these quota signals, not raw IP addresses or detailed fingerprints. Free credits reset daily and do not accumulate. These signals are used for abuse prevention, not advertising or cross-site tracking. People sharing a network and browser type can occasionally share a temporary allowance when their device is new or has no cookie; signing in gives each account its own allowance.

Optional analytics

Mixpert uses Google Analytics consent mode to measure overall website traffic. Before you accept analytics cookies—or if you continue without them—Google receives limited cookieless measurement and Mixpert does not store analytics cookies on your device. If accepted, analytics cookies help us understand visits, device and browser types, referral sources, and how people interact with Mixpert. Analytics consent is separate from any advertising choice. You can withdraw or change your analytics choice at any time. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy.

Advertising and advertising cookies

When advertising is enabled, Mixpert may use Google AdSense to display clearly identified advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP address, device and browser information, page activity, and ad interactions to deliver, measure, protect, and—where permitted by your choices—personalize advertising. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services on its partner sites information page.

Advertising choices

Where required, including for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent message will provide advertising choices before personalized advertising is used. Depending on your location and selection, you may receive personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads. You can also manage Google advertising preferences through Google’s Ads Settings.

Your choices

You can use the recipe library and the daily free AI allowance without creating an account, providing a photo, or using voice input. Browser permissions for the camera and microphone remain under your control. You can remove My Bar items and saved recipes from your account, change your password, manage two-factor authentication, cancel Pro through the billing portal, or contact us to request help with account data. Avoid including people, labels with personal details, or other sensitive information in ingredient photos.

We will update this notice when features materially change how information is handled. Macro values are estimates and should not be used as medical or dietary advice.
